Confirmation
Preparation for Confirmation consists of a variety of activities designed to help high school students, 9th grade or older, understand the various ways in which Jesus Christ is present in their lives. Students explore their Catholic faith and learn how to apply their beliefs to everyday life through participation in small group sessions, large group presentations, service projects, prayer services, music, and an overnight retreat. Volunteer catechists, guest speakers, and peer ministers work together to guide our candidates on their spiritual journey. The Confirmation preparation process involves not only the individuals who are preparing to celebrate the sacrament, but also their families, sponsors, and the entire parish community.
Confirmation classes will be held on Wednesdays, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Saint Rose School. Classes begin on Sept. 27, 2023. Scheduling information will be available through the Sunday bulletin and all questions may be directed to the Faith Formation Office.
Would you like to learn more about our Confirmation program? Come to the Orientation Session! You will receive a syllabus, a list of program requirements, and an overview of our curriculum, Chosen. The Orientation Session will be on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023. Confirmation candidates and parents are required to attend this Orientation Session.
