Prayers at Weekend Masses (Sunday Prayers)
During each of the weekend Masses, the Prayers of the Faithful include a prayer for all who are sick or have died. Individual names may be included for those members of our parish family who are very near death or have experienced a catastrophic event [like a serious car accident] where it is uncertain whether the outcome will be life or death.
Names of parishioners whose Funeral Mass is here at Saint Rose are automatically included in the Sunday Prayers. To request adding names of parishioners to the Sunday Prayers for other reasons, please call 651-645-9389.
Prayer Line
One call to The Prayer Line brings your prayer request to every member of our Prayer Line Ministry Team. Only the first name and the need are given to protect confidentiality. The Prayer Line Teams receive a variety of requests for prayer, including ongoing prayers during an extended recovery or for chronic health conditions, upcoming surgery, a safe pregnancy, struggles with alcohol or drugs, unemployment.
Please note that beginning January 1, 2019, Prayer Line will be receiving prayer requests via email at prayerline@saintroseoflima.net.
We encourage you to send your requests via email whenever possible. The requests will be sent through the Prayer Line tree as usual. It is an honor to pray with you and for you. If you are interested in joining Prayer Line, please contact Amy in the parish office. God bless you!
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Parishioners prayerfully knit or crochet shawls, with the recipient in mind. Anyone may request a shawl for someone in need of one. They are particularly comforting to those who are sick or going through difficult life situations. Baby blankets are also available. Call Brian Hindt, 651-357-1202, to request a shawl.
Kids Cards Ministry
Children in our parish School, Pre-School and Religious Education programs participate in prayer ministry making “You Are In Our Prayers” and “May God’s Love Brighten Your Day” cards for members of our parish family who are hospitalized, homebound or in care centers.
